Hallelujah!
It's finally done. Though the aches & pains coupled with a slight dip in enthusiasm (perhaps due to the aches & pains) made today go a lot slower. We snapped at each other, I complained a lot, Dino bossed me around, and I threatened to drive a 3/8" hex screw somewhere into his anatomy. His choice, as long as it hurt.
Ah, but then the slide went up and once again we were goofing off and laughing like two kids in love.
When Kasia finally saw it, her reaction was about a million times better than I had expected. She squealed, broke into a run and launched herself into the sand. It made every minute we worked on it worthwhile.
