Sick Day

As expected, I couldn't really escape getting sick with whatever Kasia has. And let's be honest, escape is pretty much futile after getting a snotty hand thrust into your mouth 2 or 3 times.

So today we spent a sick day together. The day started out normally enough with Kasia in her pj's. But then the pj top got dirty, cold little feet needed socks, and someone insisted on the rather odd idea of wearing an alpine inspired wool jumper on top of it all.

This was the result: (and check out the laid back model-like pose!)

In Kasia's defence, I have to give her credit for some excellent colour matching! It's a well known fact that to effectively mix patterns (in this case: stripes, hearts, diamonds and bears) you must ensure that they all contain the same colours. A+ Kasia!

hi,
Kasia and I have the same taste in colours! I've never seen a colour I didn't like. You would know that if you saw my quilts! Rather than being a model, although I'm sure that she would be a great one, I think that she should go into fashion designs. She really seems to have a knack for it!!!
I hope that you both get over your colds soon and are able to have an appt. at Sick Kids as early as possible.
love, kisses and hugs from
Bennett and his grandma

Well done - I think she's on to something. I must say she has the confidence to pull off that look too. I also have to add that she looks pretty freakin' cute in that picture!

Aww Grandma....you remind me of my own Granny. Her quilts were colour-ific too! I'm sure that she's looking down on Kasia right now with glowing approval!

Barbara...you know the kid has more confidence than you and I combined.
